Manchester United have successfully completed the transfer of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of up to £50.7 million ($66.8m), making him the newest addition to the team's roster.
The transfer comes after weeks of negotiations and an agreement on personal terms in July, with the 23-year-old midfielder set to join the Red Devils after just one year in Paris.
Ugarte, who always had his heart set on a move to Old Trafford, is expected to arrive in Manchester on Tuesday to complete his medical and finalize the deal.

The final agreement includes a £42.2 million ($55.6m) upfront fee, with an additional £8.5 million ($11.2m) in performance-related add-ons.

Ugarte’s move to Manchester United was made possible by the recent sales of Facundo Pellistri to Panathinaikos and Hannibal Mejbri to Burnley.
These departures created the necessary space in Erik ten Hag’s squad for the dynamic midfielder, who led Ligue 1 in tackles last season despite starting just 21 games.
With Ugarte’s arrival, United fans can expect a tenacious and hardworking player ready to make an impact in the Premier League. His addition is seen as a crucial step in strengthening the midfield as United looks to compete for trophies in this season.
