New Manchester United Manager Ruben Amorim Set for Tough Road Ahead

The revival of Manchester United begins at Portman Road on Nov 24 as Ipswich welcomes them. Ruben Amorim takes charge of the team after almost a month of preparation. While Ruud van Nistelrooy's tenure brought nostalgia and some improvements, the club now looks to the future for success.

Amorim was the hottest property around, give or take Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen, and, at 39, is the youngest manager to take the reins since, in 1986, a 44-year-old Alex Ferguson travelled to another provincial club in Oxford United, and then lost his first game in charge.
