The French football federation has declined Paris Saint-Germain's plea to review a directive from the French league mandating the payment of 55 million euros ($57.3 million) in overdue wages to former striker Kylian Mbappe. According to a source familiar with the matter, the club's appeal to the FFF's executive committee was filed a day past the deadline, following a 10-day window granted to challenge the league's decision on October 25. A French league appeals panel has endeavored to mediate in the escalating dispute between Real Madrid forward Mbappe and the team he departed earlier this year.

Mbappe has demanded the figure which he says is made up of the final three months of his salary plus several bonuses.

But Qatar-owned PSG argue that the 25-year-old had agreed to waive the sum in August 2023.
