The Indian team's batting lineup crumbled in the second session, unable to withstand the pressure from the Australian bowlers.

6 wickets fell in making 15 runs:

At one point, India A’s score in the match was 71 runs for 3 wickets. After this, wickets fell like autumn. 9 batsmen returned in reaching 86 runs. All-rounder Nitish Reddy, who was included in the Indian team for the Border Gavaskar Trophy, could not even open his account. Earlier, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was out on his very first ball. Backup opener Abhimanyu Easwaran scored 7 runs for the Test series while Ishan Kishan played an innings of 4 runs.

Brendan Doggett took 6 wickets:

Fast bowler Brendan Doggett took 6 wickets for Australia A. He gave away 15 runs in his 11-over spell and took 6 wickets. 30-year-old Doggett has no experience of international cricket.
