After giving away four runs on the first delivery, Archer felt anxious and bowled the second ball at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour. Tilak Varma was well-prepared for Archer’s pace. As soon as Archer delivered his second ball, Tilak executed an impressive shot on the leg side, leaving the England bowler astonished.

After Tilak Varma struck two consecutive boundaries, Jofra Archer realized that he couldn’t contain the Indian batsman with his pace. On the third delivery, luck was on Archer’s side, but Tilak responded by hitting a six on the fourth ball, putting more pressure on Archer. In response, Archer bowled a slower delivery on the fourth ball, which Tilak managed to navigate. He took a run, handing the strike over to captain Suryakumar Yadav, but Yadav was unable to score any runs on the final ball.

In the match against India, England batted first after losing the toss. Jos Butler was the only player to make a notable contribution, scoring 46 runs. Consequently, England managed to set a target of 166 runs for India within the allotted 20 overs.
