While the news was not officially confirmed by Rohit or Ritika initially, Rohit Sharma later took to his Instagram to share the joyous announcement on Saturday afternoon.

Rohit Sharma married Ritika Sajdeh on 13 December 2015. On 30 December 2018, Ritika gave birth to a daughter Samaira. Samaira is now 5 years old. Rohit and Ritika dated each other for a long time.
