New Delhi: India's talented wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson has made history by becoming the fourth batter to score back-to-back T20I centuries. His exceptional performance against the Proteas showcased his incredible form, as he played a magnificent innings. Samson had previously scored his first T20I century in a match against Bangladesh, where he scored an impressive 111 runs off just 47 balls. This outstanding performance helped India achieve a record-breaking total of 297 runs in Hyderabad.

The star cricketer also becomes the first Indian player to smash back-to-back centuries in T20Is.
His knock was laced with 10 sixes, a joint-record for most sixes in an innings by an Indian alongside Rohit Sharma. Samson also hit seven fours in his astonishing knock.
India were asked to bat first after South Africa skipper Aiden Markram had won the toss. The Indians brought back Axar Patel, who was not in the squad for the Bangladesh T20Is. The Men in Blue also included Tilak Varma, who was in the squad for the Bangladesh series but did not play a game there.
