Star Pakistan cricketer announces engagement to Indian girl, who is embracing Islam for their union

New Delhi: In the ongoing discussions about Pakistani cricketers forming relationships with Indian actresses and women, a new name has come to light. Raza Hassan recently announced his engagement to an Indian-origin woman on social media. Reports from Pakistani media suggest that the woman is open to converting to Islam for their upcoming marriage.

Raza Hassan, who has played 1 ODI and 10 T20I matches for Pakistan, wrote on his social media, “Finally, we are ready for the new journey of our lives.” According to reports, the wedding ceremony will take place in January or February. The 32-year-old cricketer has already moved to the USA after leaving Pakistan.

While sharing the photo, Raza Hassan wrote, “Thrilled to share that I’m engaged! I asked the love of my life to be mine forever, and she said yes! Excited for all the adventures ahead together.”

According to Pakistani media, Raza Hassan’s fiancée, who is 32 years old, is named Pooja Boman. She is from India and currently resides in the United States. Reports indicate that the couple will get married in January or February of next year.

The Pakistani player released a statement to a media outlet, expressing his happiness about the relationship. He mentioned that Pooja comes from a Hindu background. However, he noted that Pooja has a keen interest in Islam and is willing to convert for Hassan.
