Reports: Hornets' Grant Williams out for season with ACL tear in right knee

MILWAUKEE — Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams will be sidelined for the rest of the 2024-25 NBA season due to a torn ACL in his right knee. Williams sustained the injury during the team's 125-119 defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night, exiting the game in the fourth quarter.

Williams was hurt on a drive to the basket with just under four minutes remaining with the Bucks leading 114-101. He finished 2-for-6 with eight points and seven rebounds in 32 minutes.

The 6-foot-6 forward is averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists off the bench for the Hornets.
